central stay
town center train station
The hotel is near the town center. the train station is not far and neither is the beach. Made getting around simple. it was quite convenient, and i didn't need to rely heavily on public transport.
The hotel has stairs and no lifts to the upper floors. That might present problems for some guests with mobility issues. i managed but it wasn't ideal carrying my luggage up.

A cooked breakfast was an option. i only had toast , but it was satisfactory. It gave me a good start to the day, especially before heading out to explore.

The hotel had a lift. This made accessing my room easier. there were still many stairs to navigate on the upper floors, a small inconvenience. The lift was handy with luggage.

faulty lock filthy window
The staff helped with my baggage, due to my dodgy back. It was a plus.
the room was not good, the bedroom door lock was faulty, and it took me a good 5 minutes to get the key back out. the mattress was like soggy foam, and the pillows like flat slabs of concrete. the windows were filthy inside and out. there was no sockets at the bed, so the bedside lamp was there for decoration only

free parking friendly staff comfortable bed
I found free parking available. the staff were amazingly friendly and helpful, resolving all my queries promptly. the room size was good. It had a comfortable bed and nice bathroom facilities. cleanliness was superb, i did notice.
there was no mini fridge in the room. this could be a helpful addition for keeping drinks cool, especially during warmer months or longer stays.

cozy stay near everything
great location kind staff fresh breakfast
the location is superb, very near the train station. i found the staff really kind and ready to help with taxis. i liked having a freshly made breakfast cooked to order.. the breakfast was good.
I noticed the building seems a little old. Windows rattled loudly when the wind picked up.

Acceptable Location. Room Needs Improvement
The location was good and convenient to the seafront.
The room was notably cold when I arrived. They mentioned the heating is on for one hour and off for one hour during the day. I needed to request an extra heater to make the room a suitable temperature but it was still not ideal.

delicious breakfast friendly staff daily towels central location
The breakfast was great, especially the variety of options available each morning. Staff were friendly and always ready to help with directions or suggestions. I was thankful for the room's cleanliness, and housekeeping provided fresh towels daily. The hotel's proximity to local attractions made exploring very convenient.
The elevator was a bit slow.
